What games would you like the Clan to play

Here is where you post what games you would the clan to play. Please include a link to the games homepage. Feel free to leave screen shots of the game or even a game play video.

Red Orchestra Its a WWII game. It pits the Russian army vs the Germany army. Heres a youtube vid:

Red Orchestra is interesting, but it reminds me of something I would play on my old Xbox.
I play it when I am really bored.

There is always Day of defeat: Source and Counter-Strike: Source

RO is an excellent game, and I can add that to the forum list. If I had the $$$ I would purchase it, but I don't. Same with DoD:S and CS:S

In due time I plan to have all these games. And even though I don't have them the clan is encouraged to play them and discuss in the forums.

I would also love to see everyone participate in free games and mods....

I think all of you that like CS:S would love Combat Arms. Maybe not at first, but give it a bit and you'll start to like it. And, if you have a decent computer, the graphics on F.E.A.R Combat are amazing.

To clarify RO is nothing like DoD or CS. Though it does share the time setting of DoD. RO is a realism game while DoD and CS fall into the category of arcade games. RO does not have cross hairs, it has stamina, and no heal bar though it does have a player model at the bottem to let you know if you where you were hit that is if you survived the bullet. Bullets to the leg stun you and you cant move, shots to the hand drops your weapon, and head shots well that just kills. Some maps have tanks but i enjoy the infantry aspect more than anything. The graphics arent the best but a game should not be judged by its visual effect but by its gameplay. Because come on if pretty colors is what hooks us, are we no better than moths?

Well, like I said, I love all those games, and have played them all!

Do you all have anything to say about the free games?

Well if we are going to play mods i would sure like to get my feet wet with a friends than by myself. Other than that im all for it. Its not something that someone cant get because its FREE.

On a side note check out Operation Flashpoint 2 on youtube. Its the next gen arma. Basically a war simulator of two well equipped armies clashing on a large scale battlefield. Truely it will grab you by the booboo and never let you go.

We should keep an eye on Resistance and Liberation

It's only in alpha stage right now but it's a great mod. Once it hits Beta, it could be a good one for us to play as a clan. they are innovating some teamwork aspects like i've never seen before. There is morale that determines the accuracy of your shots. If you're with a squad you will have more control over your weapon, if you end up lone wolf, your character will behave more nervously, and will have less accuracy. There's lots of other unique tweaks like that one.

It's a really unique concept and i think it will be a huge hit once it hits the Beta stage.


Also, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway comes out at the end of this month. (sept 25)

They haven't announced much as far as multiplayer but i expect it to be great. There's going to be a chain of command, with an easy to read "order system" and objectives.

The past 2 brothers in arms games were very realistic, and focused more on squad tactics than being a lone gunman.

It's on A modified version of the Unreal 3 engine, so expect some badass visuals and FULLY DESTRUCABLE COVER

I will check out that game FOR SURE, and I would like to keep the games to FPS, but if you know of a good RTS game that you think everyone will enjoy, especially a free one, then let us know, we will check it out, and of course if its good, then we shall add it to the list!

Plague, I'm glad you beat me to that, cause I was about to mention, we should really consider doing something like World in Conflict.

It's a GREAT game, with an easy learning curve and good community. I'm still part of an older clan there, but I'd leave it/have it merge with DBD if enough people from here joined it. The nice thing about WiC, though, is that it's RTT: Teamwork is HUGELY important, cause no ONE person can do everything. It's a lot of fun, and I recommend people try the multiplayer demo, at the least.

Other than that, I'll go with any RTS, really, and pretty much any FPS for that matter, so I'm good.

havent played it in a while, but not a big fan. Plus, we wouldnt make a new clan, we would just add it to our games list. Maybe ill check it out again!

I think we could maybe play Age of Chivalry. It might not be a FPS but i think it is fun. From what i seen it involves teamwork, like capturing points. Its part of steam now so i would say install it a give it a try. I think youll guys will like it

I tried it about a year ago and the graphics were really great! I actually started dowloading it last night, but had to pause it so wife could watch a show online. I think i'll finish DL it today. I don't know if we can pull enough members to play it and add it to the list, but I'm all for it, maybe we can start a vote on it?

Also, we should consider some of the games on the list, either start playing them or take them off the list?????

Insurgency is our #1 game but we need to see if and what other games we wish to play as a clan!!!

Im guessing games like zombie panic or Source Forts. OR JUST MAYBE Fortress Forever.

Ha... I love Fortress Forever... I never saw why people would buy Team Fortress 2, when they can get FF for free, and it's better! I hate cartoon crap!

RO freakin' rocks. I played that when it was still a mod. Operation Flashpoint 2 would be good to play together. I'm partial to more realistic games, though. I would like to see at least some of us playing IL-2 Sturmovik. The new Birds of Prey looks freakin' awesome. You would really need a flight stick for that game.

The IL-2 series takes real skill because it is a hardcore flight simulator.

Yes, Fortress Forever is great... I like it better than TF2 (thats why I wont buy TF2).
