MECHWARRIOR - RELOADED

It is official - MechWarrior is going to be redone and released soon... I hope Christmas season...

I remember playing the ORIGINAL MechWarrior - in 1996 on a Pentium 200 with a 2MB ATI Rage graphics card...

I was impressed by the trailer, if playing it is actually like that then it should be a lot of fun. It is always good when an old series is revived into a new well made game.

Looking hot! We still play the table top classic battletech game, that's right, dice mechsheets and pencils lol.

Actually the 1st online clan I ever joined was Wolf's Freelancers for Mech4 Mercs. They're a great bunch of guys.

...That was sexy as hell. If the real game looks anything like that, I want it.

Apparently, they've made the fourth game and its expansions free to download from MekTek.net. Check it out. I am. :p

There's a ton of community created content available there but you still gotta have the base game Mech 4 or Mech4 Mercs to add them to. I can't find my disk 1 of Mech4 mercs so I can't install on my newest PC! Grrr, I wish they would allow it for free DL somewhere.

If MekTek Studios was established in 2006, and the release it to commemorate MekTek's 10 year anniversary, the game will be ready in 7 years!

They must be referring to the 10th anniversary of the site or something because mektek has been around a lot longer than that!
