hi , i did a dumb thing and downloaded counterstrike 1.6 for free of a web site , know i carnt join steam . it wont update , says theres an error and it wont load insurgency or dod ? ..any help on this !

all better , but i had to uninstall and reinstall dod to get every thing back ..the download was from a shit site called SOFTPEDIA ...mongrels !

i had mind done once and if it goes they must have your steam ID and password....if you never enter this anywhere you should be ok

i didnt enter my name or password , the down load just stopped every thing from loading up ,as i said , i had to uninstall every thing and re install the lot , including ins again ..lucky this time ! thought i had lost a bunch of great mates on here ! Shocked
