Ok, this is a mod that lets you play COD4 Multiplayer offline against and with bots. I personally find this exciting, as I use a lap top and there are times I take my PC somewhere that I cant get signal, and am disappointed I cant play COD4. Now granted, it is not as fun as playing against other players online. But, it does the trick and gets some practice in.

Now, one thing that you will notice right off the bat is that at spawn they all follow each other in a straight line and then soon branch off and spread out. This becomes annoying as there will be times that you will get 6+ kills when your enemy spawns and you unload on them. Another annoying feature is, its crappy AI (what do you expect), so playing the hiding game doesn't work well with this mod.

Installation and Operation

Ok, simply download the mod which is a compressed file .rar, extract it to your mods folder, which should be something like this:

[/color=green]C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4\Mods[/color]

Now launch the game and go to MODS, then select the PeZBOT mod. After you have done that, select "Start New Server", make sure you select all the options you wish and if you dont change the score limit up, the rounds will go by FAST. Then launch you "server".

First thing you will notice, hey where are all the bots? You have to add them threw console.... to turn your console on:

Options>Multiplayer Options>Enable Console

To add bots enter this into console:

/set svr_pezbots 19

This will add 19 bots to your server (19 bots + Yourself = 20 players) for a nice 10 vs 10 game. You can go higher, up to 32 players if you wish, but personally it runs insanely smooth at 20 players, but at 32 gets choppy on my PC. So, if you wish to add or subtract the number of bots you add, change the number 19 in the command line prompt to which ever number you desire 1-31.




PeZBOT has been created and developed by Pezzalucifer and is now up to version 7.0.

This mod enables you to play Call of Duty 4 multiplayer either offline or on a LAN using computer controlled players (bots) as your team mates and opponents.

Version 7.0 (released 31/08/08) includes the following fixes and enhancements:

- When shooting through walls bots accuracy decreases rapidly over 5 seconds.

- Bots only engage at an appropriate range for the weapon they are using.

- Bots throw grenades again.

- Bots now crouch.

- Fixed weapons not being dropped correctly.

Ya, well considering I play COD4 as much as I give money to charities, I havent even used that mod or checked those links since I posted them.
