HL2 Mod Zombie Master

I have noticed a free mod called Zombie Master and wondered if anyone has played it.

Good? Or bad?

Zombie Panic Source is better, but since there is now Left4Dead, they all suck compared to L4D

I think zombie master just makes the zombie player(s) RTS commanders of zombie hordes, instead of the fps type zombies of ZPS

Game goes like this.

When you join you are presented with a choice:

[ Willing to play as Zombie Master | Prefer to be Survivor]

If you pick "play as Zombie Master" you have a chance to be the Zombie Commander.

Randomly everyone in the ZM category is jumbled and only one is picked to be the Commander, at that point it's an RTS. Red spheres spawn zombies at the cost of money and Yellow spheres will activate traps for a cost.

Everyone else is a survivor and has a set of objectives to complete, whether it be defend "a" from zombies for 20 minutes. Or find 'x' amount of parts.

A.K.A. Fun mod.

I like zombie master because some of the maps are really creative. My favorite being Tetris where you try to run to the top as the zombie master drops blocks in your way and on top of you.

Now, see, I agree that L4D is the best done zombie-horror-survival game, but I think Zombie Panic! Source and Zombie Master are both better in certain aspects. Besides, they're just mods, while L4D took years for a major studio to develop. I personally love ZPS; it's the classic "Braaaaaaaains" zombie apocalypse. And at least they have an excuse, for, you know:

NOT HAVING A FRICKIN STORY.

Anyway, as for Zombie Master, I think it was pretty good, but I didn't like it too much. I don't know why, it just wasn't my kind of thing. It was really glitchy the few times I played it, and it's mod team is pretty small, so it's not updated that often. I dunno, I might give it another chance someday.
