Fallout3 - Greatest game ever?
Ok, so I am ALL about first person shooter games, and NEVER play anything else. But, I took the leap after hearing reviews about Fallout3, and I must say "I am fucking impressed". The world is HUGE and the game play is addicting. I will definitely be finishing this game, no matter how long that might take. The story line has me hooked, and I can't wait to get more and more into this game.
If you haven't tried this game yet, go get yourself a copy, however that may be, cause lord knows I didn't pay ANYTHING near retail for this game... well didn't really pay shit at all for it, but you catch my drift. Totally worth your time to check this shit out

I actually bought a copy, but it wont run on my crapy ati radion 9550 card. Probably need directx10 too. I dont think they even make AGP shit anymore. Nothing new, I used to play quake3 on dial up.

ah, the good old 56k era. Hell, I remember connecting on AOL and NetZero (Back when it was free) on my 14.4k modem. Back when such companies like Dr. Pepper didn't even have sites! LOL
If you can't play Fallout3 you should return it, or sell it on craigslist.org

It runs great on an EVGA 9600GT.
You don't need DX10 I'm kicking it's ass with a WinXP system...

Re: Fallout3 - Greatest game ever?
I've been running it on a 9800GTX+, and it's just beautiful. The draw distance settings are a little weird though; some models look really BAD from far off.
Also, glad to see that you fell in love with it, Thomson. I personally can't wait for the Downloadable Content.
And, I only just finally found all the marked map locations in the game. There's well over a hundred. It's just amazing.

Re: Fallout3 - Greatest game ever?
This game was great at first. But after I beat it and installed a shit ton of mods for fun I can't play it anymore without those mods.

Re: Fallout3 - Greatest game ever?
I have to actually check the mods out. I still like it how it is, but I've kinda beaten everything I can without going a different direction. Which I'll probably do eventually.
Btw, Operation: Anchorage was really good.

Meh, I didn't really like Operation Anchorage. I mean I should seeing as Anchorage is my hometown. But meh~
Still though, mods make this game in my opinion.

Re: Fallout3 - Greatest game ever?
Well, it was okay. I don't like that it's not repeatable, and it was way too short and a little hard to get used too, but overall, it was worth ten bucks.
